Remember, doctors and nurse practitioners you access through CliniCall are your first point of contact, but they can also connect you with other care providers in the community to make sure you get full-spectrum, holistic care.

CliniCall makes it easy to book both virtual and in-person appointments.
(In most cases the care you access through CliniCall is free, but like the rest of BC, there are some treatments that fall outside of MSP coverage. We’ve indicated these with an *.)
Urgent and Primary Care Centres (UPCCs) are another resource available to you. UPCCs can provide non-emergency, in-person care on a walk-in or by-appointment basis (location dependent). You can also dial 811, a free health information and advice phone line available in British Columbia. If you’re unsure what kind of care to seek, you can call 811 to speak with a Health Service Navigator.

Medical Emergencies
If you suspect that you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest hospital Emergency department.

Go to Emergency if you are experiencing:
- chest pain
- head or spine trauma
- difficulty breathing
- reduced or impaired consciousness
- paralysis
- impaired speech or comprehension
- severe abdominal pain, or significant blood loss
- serious side effects or interactions from prescription medication
